Hotel is beautiful, gorgeous surroundings and very peaceful. Room was immaculate but could do with a fridge and an upgrade on the mattress. It felt quite old and the springs were coming through slightly. The reception staff were lovely and very pleasant.

What better way to unwind after a day’s sightseeing than relaxing in a health and wellness spa? Spa hotels focus on maximum relaxation for their guests, with luxury features like hot tubs, thermal pools and professional massage services. Some spa hotels use mineral-rich water pumped straight out of the ground, helping to maintain and restore good health.
Breakfast basic not enough choice for breakfast.. not value for money . Bed was small for a double room and uncomfortable. Extra money to pay for sauna after paying so much money to stay
Great a-la-carte breakfast
Very friendly personal
Nice and spacious rooms
Very good pub and restaurant downstairs
Easy connection to London via train (55m)
Staff were very friendly and helpful. Alessia at the hotel reception was exceptionally helpful towards my missus and I and helped us book a later check out. Room was spacious and very clean. Bar was just downstairs and we could order breakfast in the morning and eat up in our room which was nice. Cheap and cheerful stay whilst visiting a gig at the Bedford Esquires just down the road. Lots of local shops and food outlets nearby also if you didn't want to eat at the restaurant.
The hotel is situated next to the river with lovely walks along the river on both sides of the bank. The room was very clean (if a little dark as it was north-facing) with a very good shower and a comfortable bed. The hotel was quiet and I had a very good night's sleep. The buffet breakfast was very standard but fried or poached eggs were cooked fresh and to order and arrived quickly. The staff were all very friendly and helpful. There were good communal spaces to sit and relax.
Everything flawless smooth and accordingly thanks to the reception staff Luke he made sure of that. Nice clean tidy spacious rooms ensure a very comfortable relaxing stay. Ample parking not far from Bedford to. Awesome variety of choices for included breakfast which was very tasty. Continuing steps to help prevention of covid 19 seals the deal. I highly recommend this hotel if you are in the area of Bedford.
The staff were so friendly and attentive
Very comfortable spacious room
Lovely relaxed atmosphere at dinner and breakfast. Tasteful decor, light and airy .
A very pleasant stay.
Everything! Great staff (especiallyJan), breakfast was amazing, the lounge space was relaxing, and you could walk around a garden with a pond. Plenty of car parking space. A nice welcome for my cat (even though it was for a dog ; ))Everything was stress free.
Great value for money. Lovely touch having the breakfast items in the kitchen. Would recommend to anyone staying in Bedford.
Host was really lovely. Great space - you could easily spend time there and just relax. Really like the electric fire and the lampshade in the main room.
The flat exceeded my expectations. Would definitely stay again.
