Loic (the owner’s son in law) was brilliant and did a great job of welcoming us to the property, which although simple, is well located as a stopover the other side of the Eurotunnel. It’s also nicely located to explore the coastal town of Boulogne Sur Mer.
The garden (although you have to access down the stairs and from the outside gate) is large and fantastic and was the perfect place for our dog to let off some steam.

I loved having such a good sea view, able to see waves crashing against the breakwater!
The property had everything we needed to enjoy our stay.
We were greeted by Emilie who was very friendly despite my lack of French language skills.
There is an indoor parking space.
The flats have an elevator, large enough that would cope with an average sized wheelchair.
The building is well insulated from the cold, I think from noise too, but cannot be certain as Le Portel is a quiet village anyway.

Lovely top floor apartment, very well equipped, comfortable and clean. The host was very friendly and helpful. We loved the balcony. Very close to some really nice restaurants and bars, and a 10 minute downhill stroll to the sea. Very good for an overnight stay before catching an early ferry from Calais - it’s an easy 25-30 minute drive to the port. There is a small Carrefour Contact supermarket very close by - ideal for provisions if you don’t plan to eat out. That said, the food we saw being served in the restaurants looked exceptional and was good value. We will definitely stay here again.

The jacuzzi, how clean it was, it was just perfect! The garden is very nicely decorated, you have a gated private parking for the car, flower leaves and swan folded towels waiting for you. There is coffee, sugar, tea, microwave, cooking plate. Everything is provided. Only thing you need to get yourself is foid (but lots of great restaurants around).

Excellent Communicaton from the Booking Team prior to visit as we were going to arrive late. Ample parking spacious apartment with all the basics you needed We ordered Breakfast and there were plenty of small resturants in walking distance for a one night meal. In the morning it took just 20 minutes to get the Tunnel so it was perfect and far enough from Calais not to get bothered by Migrants.

Room was excellent. Spacious, clean and warm. Cannot comment on the breakfast as we do not eat breakfast and we did not eat in the restaurant although we used to. We found the choice a little limited but that could be just us. I am sure for anyone else it is fine.
Room a little "snug" also bathroom but considering age of building very imaginative transformation. Dining room interesting and reception area pleasant. Parking good, lounge bar area attractive. Service was good and staff were friendly particularly liked the phrase that the Lobster was off the menu as it had gone "shopping". Spacious lift. Breakfast choice was good.
Francis was the perfect host, charming and friendly. Breakfast was served downstairs in our apartment by Francis. The apartment was spacious ,clean and modern, with an outside seating area. The bed was very comfortable and the shower hot and powerful.
The accommodation is located in the countryside about 2km outside of the resort town of Wimereaux, so a car is essential. A perfect location for our 1 night stop over at the end of our holiday.

Breakfast was great and Renee greeted us on arrival who is lovely. Room was simple and relaxing. Lovely spot with a view of the garden. Fantastic location for a dip in the sea. Beds and linens comfortable too.
Chloé and Yves are building their dream, and it is very obvious they are vey passionate in what they are doing. The atmosphere is very quiet, breakfast is superb and the rooms are beautiful. The garden is very spacious and the contrast between new and old is spot on.
The location is brilliant, just a short walk from both beach and town centre. The building is beautifully designed & decorated, immaculately clean and the hosts were friendly. There was a 'wellness room' with a sauna which could be booked, and the breakfast room has easy chairs and books, with kettle and coffee machine for guest use. Our room had an outside deck with chairs, comfy bed and lovely ensuite. Karine served freshly squeezed orange juice, fresh fruit which she prepared in front of us along with a continental breakfast.
