Loic (the owner’s son in law) was brilliant and did a great job of welcoming us to the property, which although simple, is well located as a stopover the other side of the Eurotunnel. It’s also nicely located to explore the coastal town of Boulogne Sur Mer.
The garden (although you have to access down the stairs and from the outside gate) is large and fantastic and was the perfect place for our dog to let off some steam.

I loved having such a good sea view, able to see waves crashing against the breakwater!
The property had everything we needed to enjoy our stay.
We were greeted by Emilie who was very friendly despite my lack of French language skills.
There is an indoor parking space.
The flats have an elevator, large enough that would cope with an average sized wheelchair.
The building is well insulated from the cold, I think from noise too, but cannot be certain as Le Portel is a quiet village anyway.

Location was good we were able to walk along the seafront there were some nice shops and restaurants nearby, it would have been nice to spend more time there. Hotel was comfortable abit quirky shape, triangular so the rooms were similar but ok .breakfast was nice with a good selection of food. It was nice to have the bar and get decaff coffee not everywhere serves decaff. Parking on site but very limited 3 places.

Gorgeous property, very romantic! The rooms are straight out of a romance novel, beautiful decor, and very spacious. They also serve an excellent breakfast. The hosts are most wonderful!

Breakfast is delicious and copious.My husband was searching for a specific pharmacy and the hotel owner took the time to look it up on the Internet so that we even had a photo of it and found it easily. Parking is just outside the hotel, spacious and free.
Location was superb - right in the centre of the historic town but quiet and secluded. Parking was easy and free in local carpark. Breakfast was superb! The room was beutifully equipped with luxury fittings and the bed (Whilst Small) was comfortable. The lounge area was spacious and bright, and
Luxury bedrooms in a fabulous location. Large spacious rooms with good bathroom facilities. The area is lively with numerous bars and restaurants but not too noisy and there are blackout blinds and curtains in the room. We didn't have breakfast as had an early start back to Calais. Would definitely return here.
Lovely setting, tucked away in its private garden right next to the route to/from Channel Tunnel (40 mins drive). Our room was spacious, well-presented and very comfortable. We had a separate private bathroom with its own sauna cubicle! There was also a handy utility room with washing machine, fridge and microwave for our use. Breakfast was superb. Anne-Marie brought us a cart laden with delicious food to eat in the room or in the garden. Highly recommend this B&B.
