The Property Host 'Bernard' was very responsive and met us at the property within minutes of our arrival to hand over the keys and provide a comprehensive walk through. Whilst we were only staying one night, the property includes everything you might need for an extended stay, from kitchen utensils and appliances. Bernard even includes some basic essentials like tea and coffee pods, plus a couple of beers and bottle of wine! The property appears recently renovated, both on the exterior facades and internally. Only the communal front door and staircase show the age of the original building. There is an elavator to access the third third floor but we used the stairs which were quicker. The property is located on what was the main north/south access road thought to Andorre, but since the town Bypass was opened we found traffice was light, mainly residential and certianly had no inpact on our good nights sleep. Parking was on the road outside opposite the building or one of the neighbouring streets. We were offered access to a garage but declined and we had no problems parking. In the morning it is a short 5min stroll into the town square for coffee, pastries, same for dinner in the evening. We would certianly book here again.

The apartment seems to be recently renewed, it has everything we needed (we cook daily), the internet was great to remote work and video conferences. The air system keeps the apartment warm and the air fresh, it is really comfortable. There is a free parking lot nearby (about 300m) and seems to be safe (we stayed for a month)

The staff were AMAZING, receptionists and specially the staff at the SPA. The SPA was simply the best part because it is very easy to go there and enjoy the saunas, pool and Jacuzzis and then just go down directly to your room. The room and all the facilities were very clean, everything was comfortable. And it is very well located, at the heart of the little city. So yes, I highly recommend it.

This hotel is a once in a lifetime experience! High on a mountain edge overlooking the township of Ax-les-Thermes , the view becomes even more stunning at night when the town lights up and the rustling of the stream below can be heard. I loved the enormous french bedroom with high ceilings, ensuite and balcony. Breakfast was a delight in the spacious dining room with individual attention given to each guest. I would definitely return anytime and bring along some friends to share the delightful atmosphere this heritage gem provides.

Two rooms for six people worked out well and we had plenty of space in which to agonise over packing our rucsacs. Breakfast was good, not exceptional, but plenty of freshly warmed croissants, bread, delicious cake, yogurt, cereals, hot drinks. Who needs more? and it was far superior to what the refuges serve! Good showers. Nice family atmosphere; friendly hosts. The beers on the terrace on our return tasted wonderful.
