The location of the apartment was close to everything, the apartment was very cosy and well equipped.
Katinkulta area is really beautiful and has plenty of activities available at close proximity.

We booked two nights, but we had to change rooms during our stay! One night in one apartment, then second night on second apartment.
There was no mention about this during to booking phase (used booking.com app). So complete surprise to us.
We had no idea that this kind of thing could be even possible. We have booked tens of locations during the years and never seen anything like this.
We did find out this only one day before our stay and it was not booking.com who told this to us (they probably tried to hide it).
The way we did find out:
The hotel reception called us and offered us holiday club ownership introduction.
She said that as you are arriving on Wednesday, can you come little early to the introduction. I said that no, we are coming on Tuesday, not Wednesday.,
The salesperson had problems to understand this and problem to find our dates (Tuesday to Thursday), as she only thought that we had booked one night from Wednesday to Thursday.
I explained that no, we are staying for two nights, from Tuesday to Thursday.
Then she did find our other date and said that you have booked two one night stays. WHAT?? We booked apartment for two nights, not two one-night stays.
Booking confirmation from booking.com clearly says this.
She said that she can’t do anything about this (as she was not working in reception) and said that we should contact the hotel reception or booking.com.
I could understand this, if it’s clearly mentioned somewhere before you book the hotel, but no.
They just say that the apartment is available for the dates you have chosen. Nothing else. Not mentioning that you have the change the rooms between nights.
Who would even choose this kind of holiday?
I called to the hotel reception several times, Basically they said that booking.com have overbooked your stay and there are no rooms available for two nights, only separate one night rooms.
Reception said that they can’t do anything about it, and that I should call booking.com

Not the most modern, but well maintained spa hotel, with a great gym, 🎾 fields. The spa is amazing and the restaurants serve good food. Staff is nice. Overall it was positively surprising experience. Good job!

Amazing place! We were company of 9 people and stayed in yellow house, which is beaitiful, spacious, beds comfortable,clean.

Apartment was nice, clean and had everything we needed - for example 2 bedrooms, sauna, livingroom and kitchen. Location was very good: near restaurants, activities, spa and sauna world, beach, walking and trekking routes....
Our room was large, surrounding areas of the hotel are very pretty. Good breakfast, some vegan options available upon request. Spa area quite small but fun nonetheless. Couple restaurants available on the property for lunch & dinner.
Room was big and spacious with lots of hooks and a warming cabinet. Well equipped for the ski season. Bed super comfy, loved the balcony and dinner and breakfast were delicious.
As you enter by car, there is a feeling of tranquillity and privacy. At reception, we were greeted with sparkling wine and a non-alcoholic version for my daughter. Our room was very comfortable, beds were lovely, and there was a walk-in closet, so our things didn't cramp the space. Breakfast was amazing with lots of fresh fruit, bread made that morning, and American pancakes. The view was spectacular and if it hadn't been raining, there would have been lots of activities to do just at the hotel.
Clean and spacious room. Own terrance. Big bathroom with quality soap and shampoo. Breakfast was really good with HQ ingredients including wonderful mudcake, artesan tea (multiple variations)
