Hotel Balneario de Compostela was built in 2004 and is located in the beautiful A Maía Valley, in Brión, on the outskirts of Santiago de Compostela, only 9 km away from the city centre.

It features a health spa with a swimming pool with mineral-medicinal water, different types of showers and saunas.

Room was comfortable. I didn't have breakfast there. The location is fantastic. We use the spa every day for 9 days. It was awesome. The stuff members are very nice, and helpful.

    Warm welcome after wet day on Camino. Log stove! Kitchen. Modern spacious shower / toilet facilities. Worth looking at double or quadruple rooms. Evening meal and breakfast served in nearby facility.

    Perfect little pension with a wonderful small bar and restaurant. The owner was very helpful and friendly. The room was spacious, clean and quiet. Breakfast was excellent. At the edge of town within minutes of rejoining the Camino.

    The hotel is located across the road from a small supermercado and car refuelling. It has a decent bar and the food in the eating hall is good with nice food selection for both dinner and breakfast. The rooms were spacious enough with good ventilation if the windows are opened. The hotel is not too far from the old part of town to the west of the hotel (just need to be a good walker). Lots of taxis park at the Hotel Millan and access to taxis are good.

    Staying here was a wonderful experience from start to finish. A welcome beer or glass of wine and a friendly chat from the owner set the scene. Very quickly it felt like a home from home and so comfortable. Lovely old building, but all the comforts are there. The Pilgrims Meal in the evening was exceptional, the breakfast a little more basic (but perfectly acceptable). It is slightly off the Camino route, but the owner will transport you from and to if requested. Worth the detour - great gardens, sells drinks, friendly vibe and so relaxing.

    Definitely the most memorable stay on our Camino from Porto! We loved the property, an old stone building in beautiful condition, with a lovely green space outdoors for relaxing and socializing with other guests. The host, Luis, is a real gentleman: courteous, generous, and hard working. He goes out of his way to help his guests and make sure they are happy and comfortable, and he cooks a delicious Spanish tortilla.

    Whole property with terrasse. Very relaxing after long hike. Pet and children friendly. There is a restaurant very close by where you can have breakfast, lunch and dinner if you don’t want to cook yourselfe. comfy beds and bedsheets.

    spacious rooms , very clean . beds very comfortable. host was exceptional with such a warm friendly personality . complimentary pick up from village (2 trips to facilitate our group) complimentary drink on arrival overnight stay very good value for money , breakfast very tasty, basic put plentiful complimentary drop off ( x 2 trips) to starting point of walk next morning . excellent
