Wow, wow & wow!
The location, the stunning scenery, the breakfast, the rooms - all fantastic and very authentic to the area.
Landhaus Kossel is a couple of minutes walk to the lake, lovely walks and restaurants. You can also swim in this lake in the summer! It’s really easy to get to Neuschwanstein Castle too, so we’d really recommend this for a trip of that nature.
Onsite, the rooms are luxurious and good quality. The rooms with the view are 10/10 and took our breath away.
The breakfast has a vast option of choices and is all delicious!
The onsite natural pool is good fun, with sunbeds and decking meaning you can enjoy a really chilled afternoon!
We don’t have children but observed some great play areas and amble safe space to roam free - the stables and horses are a lovely addition too!
We couldn’t recommend more highly and will most certainly be coming back with our family and friends in the next year or so!

What better way to unwind after a day’s sightseeing than relaxing in a health and wellness spa? Spa hotels focus on maximum relaxation for their guests, with luxury features like hot tubs, thermal pools and professional massage services. Some spa hotels use mineral-rich water pumped straight out of the ground, helping to maintain and restore good health.
The hotel staff were extremely friendly and gave us loads of advice and information about the area. I didn't realise there is spa treatments and bike rentals here. The room had a balcony with chairs overlooking the mountains. One of our rooms had a direct view of neushweinstein. The breakfast had lots of great options. The bathroom was especially nice and seem newly renovated. I would have liked to stay longer as the area was beautiful.
Luxury everywhere. First you park in front of the reception and then you get a ticket to parking slot owned by hotel but localised a little bit closer to lake. Swimming pool - you get the bathing rob in room and extra towels just in swimming pool. Localisation - ideal, just between the castles. Breakfast - huge variety, very tasty.
We came here for a bit of relaxation after a hard weeklong mountain hike. We could not have picked a better spot. Clean spatious rooms, friendly staff, great breakfast en superb location. We might even come back once for some more cycling and hiking in rhe area.
Absolutely incredible location - view of the Hohenschwangau Castle from the beautiful pool and a view of the Neuschwanstein Castle from breakfast/dinner! The whole hotel was absolutely stunning and the room was great. Staff were very friendly and helpful. We had an absolutely amazing experience with the spa - best massage ever and had the pool to ourselves! The breakfast was included and had loads of choice - really delicious!
This hotel is amazing ! Our room was so spacious and beautifully decorated. Huge bathroom with a seperate shower room and large tub centred in the middle . We had a view of the lake and the Alps from our bed and balcony . The pool and spa were so relaxing and also had sensational views of the alps . Breakfast was the best I’ve had in any hotel. Huge variety of foods and simply delicious

Beautiful, comfortable hotel, located in a very scenic location. Castles within walking distance. Wide breakfast offer - even dessert. Hotel has a spa & wellness center - great opporunity to relax after long walking during a day. There are also nice cafee and pizeeria nearby.
The spa facilities and treatments are better than good, they are world class. Every part of the sauna/salt/steam and relaxation areas were beautiful, calm, spotlessly clean and top notch in quality.
