Room was great. Lovely view. Great in-room amenities like espresso machine or Aromatherapy brand shampoo/conditioner. Very nice and helpful staff. I loved the bar "Le Manoir Ling" and the gentleman working there recommended a nice gin. I would also recommend taking a walk by the river on the other side of the hotel.

The location was amazing - right in People's Square. It was a 2 minute walk to the metro and easy to drop by the hotel to put things away or take a short break. The bathroom was huge, including a separate shower and bathtub. There was a water kettle for boiling water and lots of space for luggage. We also used the gym which was quite inclusive of equipment.

Two nights at the peninsula was the perfect end to our trip in China and really made our experience in Shanghai extra special. From the spacious room (with a dressing room and river view!), to the stunning facilities (particularly loved the pool, sauna and steam room!) everything is so well thought through. Breakfast was ample and delicious! All of the staff are so lovely and the concierge team are also excellent and booked our dinners in for us which was much appreciated. Highly recommend staying here!
