What better way to unwind after a day’s sightseeing than relaxing in a health and wellness spa? Spa hotels focus on maximum relaxation for their guests, with luxury features like hot tubs, thermal pools and professional massage services. Some spa hotels use mineral-rich water pumped straight out of the ground, helping to maintain and restore good health.
Yhe hotel.was the perfect location just outside the main town of Thun. A 3min bus ride from right outside the train station yo right outside the hotel, perfect! The setting was beautiful, right on the lake. Breakfast was delicious and plentiful, with the restaurant overlooking the lake.
The room was perfect size.for the 2 of us with bottled water left for.us daily. The bonus for is was the spa. Open until 10pm but it can be later if requested.
Small hotel that has a lot of charm. Rooms with big windows and lots of space. Fantastic staff who are attentive, clean shared bathrooms and wonderful breakfast (best we have ever had). All the touches made it a comfortable stay.
Good location, just 7 mins from Thun rail station, well connected by bus # 1 having a very good frequency. Room was spacious. Beds were comfortable. Our package had buffet breakfast for which items were good enough.
My room was lovely. bed was comfy and shower room very clean and spacious. Breakfast was fantastic with alot of choice and didnt feel hurried to finish and leave. Staff were lovely and friendly and even let me borrow a charger for my phone as had the wrong one with me. The hot drinks machine outside the rooms was great. a good selection of teas and coffee. I would recommend this hotel and will go back when next in the area!
The room was clean, modern and spacious. Especially the balcony was a highlight with beautiful views over the garden and the lake.
The Spa was not the biggest but the pools were super nice and I highly appreciated the selection of 2 separate sauna areas: 1 with swimming wear and 1 without.
We ate dinner in the Thai restaurant and were amazed by the authentic Thai tastes.
Breakfast was good but with a really bad coffee.
Pro tip: Order the coffee from the bar. You pay for it but it is worth it. :)
The room was very spacey, even for three adults. It had a spectacular view on the castle and downtown. We got two parking tokens in a nearby parking garage (saved us 4 of 20 CHF). The breakfast was nice.
The location is great. You are 5 min away from downtown.
Check out the Planetarium Sirius above Sigriswil and the Thun Panorama (largest panorama in the world, depicting Thun and its surrounding from the early 19th century).
Very warm welcome and additional services provided for our daughter’s needs 👍🏻 good breakfast though options are less but much better for Switzerland based resorts / hotels.

The hotel's facilities are amazing. I love the spa section. It is massive with multiple sauna room, relaxing room, etc. Drinks and snacks are also provided in the spa section.
All the little details are well prepared and provided (i.e. fruits are provided and setup nicely on the hall way, spa is always clean and tidy, etc.)
Everything! It was very quiet during the night, even with the window open! We enjoyed an atmospheric and great breakfast in the courtyard! If you want a special castle-experience with views up-close, this is definitely the place to spend a day or two. And if you need a few relaxing moments in the spa you can reserve in advance at the front desk. No additional charge. The staff is also really friendly and helpful. I strongly recommend!
