Hotel Arc-en-ciel Gstaad, hotel in Gstaad

The Arc-en-ciel hotel in traditional Chalet style is a hotel situated in a quiet location on the outskirts of Gstaad, next to the Eggli cable car station, close to the car-free centre.

The hotel is so cozy and clean. It’s warm with the wood, and nice touches of comfort and style. We were upgraded to a lovely big room. The breakfast buffet was super nice. It’s a calm and wonderful place, with a beautiful private (to yourself) spa.

Gstaad is a pristine Alpine village that’s somehow equally out-of- this-world as it is down-to-earth. To experience all its wonders, escape to undoubtedly one of the finest properties in Switzerland.

The staff were great and very attentive. I love the intimacy of the hotel. Was very impressed with the breakfast. Pastries and bread were wonderful and presentation was also good until I asked for scrambled eggs and were served to me in a cereal bowl. Was a bit disappointed with the Eggs Benedict served without ham, but for the most part it was lovely. I will come back again.

Everything was great ! Staff goes above and beyond to make you feel comfortable. My compliments to the two reception ladies, being friendly and accommodating at my requests. The hotel is cosy, clean and welcoming. We had a room with the balcony and amazing view, there is also a Nespresso coffee machine in the room and tea bags. Spa is lovely , everything is new and clean. It’s not big but it’s cosy. We enjoyed our food in the lounge bar and breakfast has very nice choice of options too. Overall, one of the best 4 stars hotels I’ve stayed, and very close to Gstaad, under 10 minutes by train. I will def come back another time! Everything was great and staff really made the difference !

The alpine contemporary decor gave the hotel a very classy chill atmosphere. The balcony on the reception floor overlooking the mountains is beautiful during the day but also the night for stargazing. The pool and spa area are nice and the deck to sunbath on is very useful for relaxing in the cool breeze after the sauna.

The hotel is superb, everything was of higy quality. The location is perfect: not exactly in the center, but is quite and picturesque, only a few minutes walk to the center, and in the best position in Gstaad regarding the view to the mountains. The Deluxe Suite is spacious, it has a very big balcony with wonderful view to the mountains (Wispile). The breakfast was delicious and varied, the room was clean, and the staff very helpful and polite. So, everything was perfect to spend some memorable days in Gstaad!

The location is excellent being next to the main town square with numerous boutiques and upmarket restaurants. The Hotel is a boutique family run operation with efficient staff , great breakfast, nice cosy guest lounge to get out your room and peaceful outside garden area . Get a larger room with a balcony if you can . It also has a free sauna and spa area which other hotels normally charge a hefty fee for .

The rooms are beautifully decorated in a homely fashion. The breakfast was very generous and of high quality. The staff were beyond friendly and helpful, an absolute delight to stay at the hotel. The spa area is another delight to relax and enjoy nicely heated pool plus sauna and steam bath rooms. The location is ideal if you want to use train or stroll in town close to all happenings in the lovely town of Gstaad. We enjoyed thoroughly our stay and hope to visit it at another time again. Highly recommended.

Comfortable lounge area and really cute bar. Room facilities including water, tea selection, aromatic bathing soaps, face towels and moisturizer were great coming off the mountain, as was the wellness centre with spa and sauna facilities. Room had everything needed for a comfortable stay.

Stayed 2 nights. Quiet, clean n spacious room. Parking n good breakfast included. Large backyard, great for family with kids. The staff was very courteous. Sarah at the front desk was very friendly. Easy check in n out. Also Maya n the ladies in the breakfast room, everyone was very welcoming. We also enjoyed the sauna. . Unfortunately no safety box in the room. For just 2 nights, not a big deal for us.
