We travel extensively and have to say that this is one of the most superb hotels that we have EVER stayed in.
The location is stunning, the rooms large and beautifully appointed, the Wellness centre quite extraordinary and the food excellent. There were small touches (take anything from the minibar - there is no charge) that add up to a lovely experience.
What makes a hotel seem like home is the quality of the service and every person we met at Waldegg was very friendly, very welcoming and extremely warm. A special mention of Isolde who ferried us around with a big smile - but this really extends to everyone we met. Can’t wait to return.

Nice hotel, friendly staff, well appointed rooms. The hotel has an in-house pizzeria and across the street is their higher up restaurant. The pizzeria serves good food. The breakfast is good and well supplies. During the night it was very quiet, as they have taken a lot of precaution to prevent noise from carrying through the hotel. The place has a nice swimming pool and other spa facilities.
The 4-star H+ Hotel & SPA Engelberg is located in the heart of Engelberg, only 300 metres from the train station. It offers fresh and local cuisine, a spa area and free WiFi.
This small family hotel Belmont in chalet style is situated only a 5-minute walk from the cable car station Titlis and 3 minutes' walk from the centre of Engelberg.

A very friendly hotel, 10 minutes walk from the railway station. A typical Swiss hotel where you know you are in Switzerland - not a sanitised hotel chain. Lovely view over the mountains from our room with balcony. Breakfast was quite basic but good enough to start the day!

The absolute best hotel experience and we are not novice travelers. The spa is exceptional, the rooms are fresh and spacious. Staff all through the hotel go above and beyond to fulfill all wishes.

Spa hotels focus on maximum relaxation for their guests, with luxury features like hot tubs, thermal pools and professional massage services. Some spa hotels use mineral-rich water pumped straight out of the ground, helping to maintain and restore good health.
Good family hotel, good location, warm and comfortable. My only draw back was hard mattresses, which effected my sleep. No mattress toppers available.
We also were not able to make a reservation in the hotel restaurant during the evening, so I recommend you book in advance of your stay. There is a good asian restaurant and steakhouse close by however.
The spa is lovely, nice pool and good sauna. And the breakfast is decent for families too.
We had a beautiful room on the 8th floor with mountain views. The room was spacious with a good seating area to relax or watch television. Breakfast was a very good buffet breakfast with almost everything one could wish for.
Me and my husband had the loveliest stay. Even though it was a one night stay, it felt like a whole perfect weekend. The staff was exceptional - professional, kind, helpful, funny. They really made us feel as home and as valued guests. The room and view was amazing, spa and saunas just what we needed. Breakfast had a bit of all the main things: some bread, salmon, hams, some fruit, overnight oats, nuts and seeds, plus they made lovely omelett and pancakes. We will be going back.
A very central hotel, with skibus right in front. Large, very clean rooms, comfy beds with an additional sofa bed and a terrace. A superb spa area with a beautiful swimming pool and saunas. Super friendly staff. Parking slots available, if you arrive by car. A very nice selection of food during breakfast, everything is freshly made and the products are of high quality. A walking distance to all the main attractions, and 7-10 minutes away by skibus from the main skiing area.
Belle Epoque room was good size, great views, proximity to train station ideal. Dyson hair dryer. Bath and shower. All bathroom extras good quality. Mini bar provided, water available. Hotel and rooms very clean. Spa and sauna lovely with great views! Breakfast has lots of choice. Bar had good drinks menu.
Ideal hotel location next to ski bus stop, food variety during breakfast, nice swimming pool and spa area for relaxing after skiing, storage rooms for skis, beautiful views from the balcony, coffee machines in the rooms.
Great view over Engelberg! Comfortable beds and very clean rooms. Very nice spa area that can be booked for personal use, including sauna, steam room and plunge bath. Breakfast was nice enough.
Wow. I don't think I can do this hotel justice regardless of what I say! They are incredible!! The staff is amazing, the views are to die for, the wellness area is super nice, the hot tub outside is a bliss, the breakfast is good, the rooms are new and clean... Really! Amazing.
As a tip, once a month they have a pop up restaurant which serves crazy delicious food by a renowned chef. I'm a foodie and have been to several famous restaurants in Switzerland and around the world and I can tell you this one is totally worth a visit!
The propert is fantastic. The wellness area is among the best you can find, very spacious and well planned. Perfect retreat for a weekend trip to the mountains to relax snd disconnect.
