The host was always available and wanting to make sure we had all the information and comfort we needed. 15min by car to the San Isidro ski station.

Received a warm welcome from the owner. We arrived by bicycle and she happy for us to put them inside. We had a twin room on the second floor which was beautifully decorated and furnished. Good sized bathroom with fantastic shower, toiletries were provided. Beds were very comfortable, it was nice having 2 armchairs in the room to relax in on the evening. We had the menu of the day, which was excellent and very good value for money. The hotel is situated in a beautiful area and very quiet, all you could hear were the cattle and their bells. Free WiFi, though it was a little temperamental at times in the room. Nice garden area for when the weather plays ball.

Decorated in soft pastel colours, these bright and stylish apartments come with a seating area and heating. The bedrooms include a wardrobe and the bathroom has a shower. We stayed at Artesa en route from Southern Spain to Santander. It was conveniently located just off the motorway in a small, pleasant village with a couple of bakery shops and bars/restaurants. The staff couldn't have been more helpful and although we didn't use the spa facilities, they looked very good. The suite was extremely clean and was equipped with everything we needed for our overnight stay. We would have no hesitation in returning when doing the same journey again. Parking was easy in the nearby square or on the streets closeby.

Set in picturesque Candelario, within a 10-minute drive of La Covatilla Ski Resort, Hotel La Casa Chacinera is an 18th-century stone building offering heated houses with free Wi-Fi. All bedrooms feature en-suite bathrooms. Beautiful old house. Our host gave us the option of 2 lovely rooms, which was nice. The bedroom we chose was much bigger than expected, and also had wonderful views of the mountains. Free car park just round the corner.

The Covatilla ski resort is a 20-minute drive from the Ruralmusical. Salamanca is 80 km away. The owner treated me as if I was family. Great attention to detail and a high level of customer service. You wont go wrong staying at this hotel.
