This is a lovely and well-run hotel in a good location a few minutes walk away from Lake Bohinj. Our double room was a reasonable size in the usual standard hotel layout, and had doors onto a divided shared balcony to the front of the hotel. Views looked across the road to the mountains beyond. The room was clean, tidy and well decorated; there was a fridge but no kettle, however there was a coffee machine in reception which is free if you don't abuse it (i.e. 0.5 euro per cup, but was not added to bill at checkout). Soft drinks, beer and snacks were also available in reception for a small fee.
Breakfast was plentiful and well organised - cheeses, meats, cereals, saussage, eggs, pancakes, vegan options, bread, toast, fruits and more. The only thing they don't have is English Breakfast tea - but then very few places in Slovenia have that!
Surrounded by unspoiled nature, Hotel Bohinj is situated 100 metres from Bohinj Lake. It offers rooms with mountain view and few rooms on the top floor with lake view.

We had a great time at TriSa apartment. Vesna was very helpful, she gave us useful information about nearby sights and trails. The apartment was very clean and spacious, it had everything we needed for our short stay. The WiFi was great.

The atmosphere at Hostel Mama Minka is very friendly and the owners make you feel at home. The place is great, they also offer bikes for rent and a good place to rest after long walks/tours. We met some amazing people too. My boyfriend and I had only booked one night, but we liked the place so much that we used it as a base for a few days to explore the mountains and lakes, that we stayed for 3 nights in total. That's why we highly recommend you spend one or more nights there.

Very quiet and peaceful. Bathroom and kitchen very good quality and the washing machine was very useful.
There are 3 restaurants in the village (although none were open on a Wednesday). The restaurant nearest the accommodation was terrific.
Good bus service so we didn’t always have to use the car.
