Please note that bedlinen, towels and departure cleaning are not included in the rate of Cottages, Quadruple rooms, Family rooms and dorm beds. The usage of linen, travel sheet or sleeping bag is mandatory due to hygienic reasons. Linen is either rented on site or you can bring your own.
Definitely the most comfortable hostel I have ever been too. The dorm room was spacious, all the shared facilities were clean, and there is a fully equipped kitchen. In case you're not in the mood to cook, the restaurant offers great deal breakfast and lunch buffets, and also a dinner shift. The food is delicious and fresh. The location is also superbe, you can access hiking routes straight out the door.

This hotel is in Abisko, just 2 minutes’ walk from Abisko Östra Train Station. Abisko Mountain Lodge’s in-house restaurant Brasserie Fjällköket has a seasonal menu based on locally sourced ingredients. 2 km away from us you can find Abisko national park and the Aurora Sky Station. From Abisko Mountain Lodge you have several different trails you can do day hikes
Staff can help book ice climbing, dog sledding and guided hiking in Abisko National Park. More adventurous area activities include heli-skiing, snowshoe trekking and Northern Lights safaris.
The fact that it is in the park means you are away from light pollution for the Aururoas, and all other day activities. Staff was so friendly and has a.very laid back vibe.too

This property was EXACTLY as described but bigger! It was SO cozy. SO beautiful. SO comfortable. I absolutely will stay here again.

I would recommend this house to everyone, it is large and clean, with all the kitchen utensils, it will definitely be your best choice in Bjorkliden. I would like to especially thank Micke and Rita for their help, when I left, the bus that replaced the train never came, I had to call them for help, Micke took us directly to the abisko train station and caught the train, thank them so much!
Björkliden (Near Abisko)
A variety of activities, like hiking, fishing, skiing and dogsled tours can be performed in the immediate surroundings. The property has free ski storage and a ski pass vendor can be found on site. Ski season in Björkliden is between February and the beginning of May every year. Outside these month winter activities like snow mobile tours, can be arranged by the staff.

Really loved the view from the cabin, its spaciousness, and especially the sauna, drying box, and shoe dryer!
