Two of the best things about my stay were the excellent service provided by the caretaker, Raefela, and the amazing view from the lodge. Raefela went above and beyond to make our stay comfortable, especially when my son and I got severely sick and had to quarantine in the room for eight days. Despite the risk of getting infected herself, she offered help and cleaned my room every single day. However, despite the great view, I may not choose to stay at this lodge in the future.

The lodge was fantastic. Parking was generous and we particularly enjoyed the ambiance of the lodge with the fireplace and turn down service each day. The bathroom was also generously sized.

Location and style of the hotel was awesome. Really enjoyed the lounge area and the friendly staff. Complimenatry drinks at happy hour was a great touch, as were the complimentary items in the room. Have stayed at Naumi in Auckland and it was not a nice experience at all!! Glad we tried Queenstown - it made up for the disappointment in Auckland.
