The staff was absolutely lovely and helpful. We felt at home right away, even though some do speak little English. A traditional breakfast was served inside the room. An entire feast, very satisfying and with lots of variety. Dinner also was quite the showstopper and not expensive at all for what we got. The room was very spacious and cosy, perfectly clean and with lots of small amenities.

I LOVE this place so much! The place is extremely clean, and even though it is shared bathroom/shower, there's only 3 rooms available (so its never crowded and always clean). The room is very very spacious for a single person, and everything inside feels new and amazing! The owner is super friendly and she speaks really good English, which is always a huge plus in Japan. We've had some great chats and I just absolutely love this place

This was one of the best stays I’ve had in Japan. The lodge is very cosy and clean, and in the most convenient location if you’re planning to ski. It is right next to Shiga Kogen Ski Resort, and there is free shuttle bus that takes you to GALA and Ishiuichi in just 10-20 mins. Mina and her mum were wonderful hosts, warm and very helpful. They really took care of us and were so hospitable ☺️ The cafe downstairs is fantastic. Highly recommend having breakfast there. It is simple yet delicious, taste of Japanese home cooking. Desserts are quite special and a must try!
