As we were running late for check in, the hotel management called us to make sure everything was okay. When we arrived, we were accompanied to our room and given a tour of the beautiful suite and facilities. It was a perfect spot from which to explore Sappada on foot. We were offered suggestions on dining in the area, given a map with a suggested walking itinerary as well as some interesting history on the village. We really enjoyed the 24 hour breakfast as well.

Cristiano at Reception offered us a very warm welcome and introduction to the property. Our room was beautiful: a large apartment with a comfortable bed, kitchen, sitting area (that had a sofa bed for our kids), large shower. The room was filled with light and was bright despite the rainy weather. The room had an absolutely gorgeous view. The breakfast had a huge variety of pastries and local delicacies. We did NOT want to leave and hope to return again in the future! We were provided with excellent suggestions of where to eat and things to do.

The character of the property was superb. This was all that you could expect - but with so much character. You also get some inconveniences, such as older modern bathroom fittings, low ceileings and awkward passage ways and access. But it was so enjoyably different staying here, that we can do nothing but recommend this place.
