In winter guests can access the Massive Central ski resort in 15 minutes and enjoy the 42 ski slopes and snowpark located near Le Lorian.

The area was lovely although it was too hot to hike for long. We enjoyed our tour of Vic-sur-Cere, organised by the Tourist Office. WE particularly enjoyed the town swimming pool and the surrounding park. The hotel was particularly quiet and the room north-facing which we appreciated when the temperatures soared to 36 degrees. The people in the area were very friendly and helpful
