Our host, Claire, was super nice, responsive, flexible, and it was a pleasure to also see a bit of her family farm. The house is large and well-equipped; the only thing to be aware of (for us non-French) is the French bring-your-own-towels, sheets, supplies way of doing things. (This is NOT a criticism of Claire nor of the house; just my forgetfulness as a reminder to others).

The "Mountain nest" makes a great vacation home. As its name suggests, it's located in a very peaceful area in the mountains of Aucun. It's a very large house (bigger in real life than in the photos), with three bedrooms, each with a queen bed and an additional single bed. The bedrooms are on the second floor, while the living room and kitchen are on the first floor. It was great to have a shower with a high water flow. The host, Maryline, is very friendly and welcoming. She was very responsive to our requests and offered her assistance whenever we needed it.
