The appartment was nice and clean. I traveled with my adult son so it was great to have separate bedrooms. The sauna was an excellent surprise as we were just looking for a place of reasonable price to rest after our long Karhunkierros-hike.

I have stayed in Rukan Salonki cottages before and have always liked it. It is best choice for bigger groups because big cottages have 6 bedrooms each and 14 people can fit comfortably

Small but perfectly formed. Super location with absolutely stunning views from every window. Lovely and warm with electric heaters in all rooms and a fire we didn’t need to use. The toilet has underfloor heating also. The shower is lovely, the sauna amazing to have and the drying rack is perfect. Our luggage didn’t arrive but we were able to wash clothes using the washer and dryer super quick. We sledged straight from our door down to the slopes and there’s a fab bar/restaurant just 3 minutes away. The owner let us check out at 3pm due to our later flight which was really kind.
