Situated in the natural surroundings of Valais Alps, this hotel offers accommodation in Arolla. It is 900 metres from the ski lifts.
There is an a la carte restaurant with special diet menus. Guests can enjoy a drink at the hotel’s bar, read a book on the terrace or request a packed lunch for a day on the slopes.
Singapore
Quiet place with very enthusiastic and polite staffs. Not all of them speak English but they try their best to answer our queries. We had the cheese fondue with tomatoes - something unique to the Valais canton - for dinner (strongly recommended by the staff) and it was just fantastic. The dessert was apricot sorbet with apricot liquor, both produced locally, the combination was just perfect. It’s a good place right in the alps with no other disturbance from the surroundings. Very peaceful environment, and near to various hiking trails. There’s towel provided, hot water shower, comfortable beds. It’s an old property but very well maintained, and very clean.
Arolla (Near La Gouille)
Ski equipment hire is available at the property and the area is popular for skiing, free-riding and cycling. Heli-skiing and ski touring are also possible in the region. The property has ski-to-door access, a ski school and a ski pass sales point and bike hire is available.

This hotel certainly is grand, with all modern amenities in a traditional setting. The restaurant was also excellent, and the staff friendly and helpful. It was a bonus when hiking into Arolla that Kurhaus is the first place you come to!

Family-run for 5 generations, the Hôtel des Haudères is situated in the centre of Haudères, in the high valley of Hérens, 25 km from Sion. It offers free WiFi and free parking.
A ski school and tennis courts can be found close to the Hôtel des Haudères and bikes can be rented on site.

The staff were so kind and helpful. I was not feeling well and they let me bring food up from the restaurant to my room. There was also an amazing view.

The family-run "Hotel Les Mélèzes", in the typical village of "Les Haudères" is located at 1450 meters in the Swiss Alps, at the foot of the "Dent Blanche" and in the centre of the commune of "Evolène", one of the most beautiful communes in Switzerland.
A ski storage room can be found in the building, as well. Private parking spaces are available on site free of charge.
