Specifically "Located in the car-free Fex Valley, Hotel Chesa Pool is a 20-minute walk from Sils Maria through a partly steep forest path. We offer a free shuttle service from Sils to the hotel 5 times a day at fixed hours and with previous reservation. Shuttle rides outside our fixed times are possible at a fee and depending on availability. The hotel occupies a historic Engadine-style building and offers rooms with mountain views. It has been the 3rd time that I have stayed here (for a long weekend). It is at a great location about 30 miniutes on foot from the village (there is also a shuttle service). Very quiet, friendly staff and a modern interior.

During summer and autumn guests have free use of the regional mountain railways and also a motorboot on Silsersee Lake.

Excellent location to explore Engidine region. Breakfasts were plentiful and delicious. Delightful Solbad. Our favorite was the “backyard” next to the river. Very friendly staff, especially Angelo the bartender!
