The hotel is in a quiet location but very convenient for shops, restaurants & the station. Such a friendly team at the Sonnwendhof, nothing is too much trouble & a fabulous breakfast buffet too. The rooms are spacious & comfortable. We have stayed here before & we’re happy to return

We travel extensively and have to say that this is one of the most superb hotels that we have EVER stayed in.
The location is stunning, the rooms large and beautifully appointed, the Wellness centre quite extraordinary and the food excellent. There were small touches (take anything from the minibar - there is no charge) that add up to a lovely experience.
What makes a hotel seem like home is the quality of the service and every person we met at Waldegg was very friendly, very welcoming and extremely warm. A special mention of Isolde who ferried us around with a big smile - but this really extends to everyone we met. Can’t wait to return.

Nice hotel, friendly staff, well appointed rooms. The hotel has an in-house pizzeria and across the street is their higher up restaurant. The pizzeria serves good food. The breakfast is good and well supplies. During the night it was very quiet, as they have taken a lot of precaution to prevent noise from carrying through the hotel. The place has a nice swimming pool and other spa facilities.

There was a beautiful scenery from just beyond the window, also having a vast area to explore as well as a section for kids to enjoy! It had a wide space inside and provided more than enough utilities to spend your holiday in. All of the facilities were clean upon arrival.

Unexpectedly the most incredible hotel and dining experience we’ve probably ever had. We booked villa hundert as the last night after a multi day hike through the mountains and it was perfect. The room was beautiful and it was a great place to unwind. The whole hotel was beautiful, filled with candles and there were lovely communal spaces to enjoy. We went down for dinner and had a delicious cocktail and the first few courses on the terrace beside a wood fire with an incredible view of the mountains as it got dark. When we were ready we went inside to finish the meal. The hosts were so attentive and clearly so passionate about the project. The food was incredible - it was described as a love letter to Switzerland and you could really feel that. The music, the wine, the decor - everything was so beautiful with not a hint of pretension. We slept very soundly. The breakfast was also so thoughtfully done and we asked for scrambled eggs which were delicious and freshly made. I was so impressed by the whole experience, everything was thought through and so much care was given. We didn’t know what to expect when we booked but this was the highlight of our trip. I can’t say enough how highly I would recommend staying here. Thank you Christian, John and Anna. We hope to come back one day soon.
