Thank you to Roman for giving us the opportunity to stay at Gadenstatt. The chalet is perfectly situated to give access to all the winter activities that are available in Davos. Snow shoe and hiking trails on your door step and a simple bus ride gets you to all the main ski stations. On the last day we took the opportunity to hike up the Staefa Alp directly behind the chalet. when you reach the top you get a warm welcome from the staff at a fantastic little restaurant then when you are ready to leave they supply free sledges to add that little more excitement to your return journey. As the chalet is at the back of the small hamlet it’s safe for the kids and or dog to play in the snow. We will definitely stay here again when we return to Davos

wonderful hosts, house has perfect location, calm area just outside of Davos, yet still walking distance to train station/shop. apartment was well equipped, even things like raclette and fondue pot :-).

Just a 10-minute walk from the Jakobshorn cable car and the Davos Platz railway station, the great Alpenhof hotel also situated close to cross-country skiing tracks and hiking trails.
The cosy and very quiet rooms featuring charming furniture made of Swiss stone pine of local origin offer wonderful mountain views and provide wired internet access. The entire hotel is a no-smoking zone.

Our welcome was great. The room far exceeded our expectations as did the service from the staff. The evening meal and breakfast were excellent. Undercover parking for our ageing soft top sports car was much appreciated albeit at a price. Wi-Fi was fast and reliable.

At the first glance I was a bit lost, I found the keys but couldn't realize the position of the room as we count the floors in a different way in our country. I called to the contact number and thanks to the immediate whatsapp videocall the problem was solved. Also finding the way to get to the garage took me a while. But the rest of our stay was great. Well equipped apartment, good location to get to the train, garage, nice kitchen.
