The views were excellent and it was conveniently located as a base to explore the Magic Pass ski areas in this region of the Valais. I think it would also be a lovely place to stay in the summer. The hosts were very friendly and provided everything we needed for a great stay, including convenient bike storage. Local wine and beer are available, and our room was comfortable with great view and balcony, and a really great breakfast. Eischolll is small but has dozens of quaint old wooden buildings and a few good restaurants. We used the cable car to access with our touring bikes and gear (tight fit in the cable car but fun!) , and then rode back down in the morning to the Rhone bike path. Recommend walk route No. 2 on the provided map, as it goes along a nice Bisse.
