The village centre is a 5-minute walk away, and cross-country ski runs are 100 metres away. It is 10 km to Eben im Pongau, and Bischofshofen is 20 km away. On request, free transfers from the train stations there are available.

For winter holidays, cross-country ski trail runs right past the house and the local ski lifts are within walking distance. The ski regions of Amade and Dachstein West are a 10-minute car drive away. There are 3 ski lifts in St. Martin, which are a 2-minute walk away.

Within a few minutes by car or with the free ski bus you can reach three of the largest ski areas; Dachstein West, Ski Amadé with famous places such as Flachau, Schladming, Zauchensee and at a higher altitude Obertauern. A total of more than 2000 kilometers of ski slopes in the immediate vicinity.

We stayed at Alpenhof during our trip in Austria. It is a very cosy family hotel. Peter and Annemarieke are wonderful hosts. The room is very clean and comfortable.
