We were welcomed by Thomas, who promptly filled the form with our info and offered us a complimentary beer because we've arrived on my birthday. The location of the property is central, very close to a bus stop. The whole region has a very efficient network of busses, taking the visitor to several points of interest! The gästehaus is super clean, the room is comfortable and offered a great view of the mountain. The breakfast was one of the highlights of our staying, served in a cozy room with a nice view. Surrounded by a beautiful mountain landscape with unspoilt nature and clear air, Alpengasthof Hörnlepass in Vorarlberg's Kleinwalsertal valley is a small paradise at 1,200 metres above sea level. The Walser Bus stops in front of the house.

Hiking trails and cross-country ski runs start right at the doorstep of Alpengasthof Hörnlepass. During summer season, the cable car can be used free of charge.

This is definitely a place we loved. It is a gem for people that are highly sensitive like me. The rooms are very quiet, in the restaurant the acoustics are good so that your senses are not completely overwhelmed after a meal. We really enjoyed breakfast and the buffet on Saturday evening. The hotel is family-run and the staff is very friendly in a way that feels very natural.
