The location is great: very close (ca. 7 min walk) to the Planai cable road, the local shopping center, and the bus stop for buses to Dachstein and other destinations.
The room was quite spacious, we also had a balcony with a nice view.
The bed was rather soft which is really great, as our backs didn't hurt like in other hotels.

The breakfast was good, with a lot of cold cuts, cheeses, vegetables, cereals, a couple of warm dishes, yoghurts, fruit, breads.
The hotel staff was nice, they even provided a tea kettle for us when I asked. That was a really nice touch.
A huge advantage of this hotel is that they are a part of the Sommercard program, and give you Sommercards, which are plastic cards with your names and the dates of your stay on them. These cards give you free access to all local buses and 1 round trip on a cable car of your choosing per day, which is super great value. We got back more than half of our hotel stay cost thanks to this. The cards are valid throughout your stay (after 1 pm on the day of arrival, and the whole day on the day of departure).

Incredibly nice staff. To our surprise, we got an apartment. Spacious spaces, two bathrooms,(robe, slippers). Finnish sauna, comfortable bed, wonderful wooden interior. Fireplace, quality porcelain in the kitchen,(nespresso capsule coffee machine). Super terrace with an incredible view of the Dachstein. Silence, peace, complete relaxation. It was like a dream to have a sauna in the apartment after the hiking.
Ramsau can be reached on foot within half an hour. The Dachstein glacier car park is 15 minutes by car. Filzmoos with the marmots is only 10 km. 20 minutes by car. Rittisberg is less than 6 km away, a must for families with children :).
There is a small fitness room. Lucky for us, we were the only ones using it when the rain came down. Correct treadmill, rowing bench, TRX, weights, SMR foam rolling. We made ourselves delicious teas. We loved it :).
I highly recommend this accommodation! We felt fantastic!!!

Beautiful rooms, spacy and clean. The buffet breakfast was delicious and rich in local fresh food and groceries. The owners are amazing and very helpful. They arranged for us the local discount card with which we travelled for free and they gave us great tips for hiking. The residence has the bus stop just across and there are many hiking options around.
Located in Ramsau am Dachstein, 7 km from Schladming, Landhaus Ramsau is only 200 metres from the ski lift and steps away from the ski school.
