Everythink was perfect. The house is really nice, maybe new renovated, the main space is a kitchen with a living room, with a big windows - the biggest advantages of this accomodation, because the view is really spectacular and by a breakfast you can enjoy the sunrise. The kitchen is well equiped, you will find here all what you need - also the basic thinks like sugar, tea, salt, pepper, detergent, dishwasher tabs, etc. Big advantages is the garrage what you can use, for parking a car, bycicle or baby-cyriage like by us. As was written, everythink was perfect and cleean and hope that we can come again also because of a very quiet area.

The location is excellent, set above the village of Altaussee. There is a footpath almost from the door which takes you down the hill to the lake within 20 minutes. If you go up the hill you can go into the woods and visit a ruined castle and a waterfall within easy walking distance. The apartment is comfortable for two people, spacious and well equipped. There is outdoor seating with a fantastic view of the lake and mountains, perfect for eating outside. It is an excellent base for exploring the local area and other parts of the Salzkammergut. There is parking for one car. The owner is friendly and accommodating. He speaks English as well as German..

The apartment was very clean, cozy and warm with views to the mountains. It had everything one could imagine is needed for a stay with a kid. The neighbourhood was like a scene from a fairytale. The location was central for exploring the nearby ski areas: Loser, Tauplitz, Dachstein West, Krippenstein, Zauchenzee, Obertauern. We recomend the place wholeheartedly and will return if we have a chance!
