René and Esther were wonderful hosts. They took a real interest in our activities. They care about their guests. The room was comfortable, with a modern bathroom with a good walk-in shower. It was quiet at night. Our room had a small balcony with a view of the mountains. Berwang is a small town and you can walk everywhere. Although there was one flight of stairs to our room, the stairs were not steep and had a good handrail. It's an easy day trip to get to the Austrian side of Zugspitze gondola.

Only 200 metres from the next lift of the Berwang-Rinnen-Bichlbach Ski Area, Gästehaus Bergland can be found in the village of Rinnen. It offers en-suite rooms and apartments with views of the Rotlechtal Valley. Guests can relax in the sauna and enjoy the views from the garden.

Cross-country skiing tracks are 200 metres away. The Zugspitz Arena is also great for mountain biking and hiking.

Next to the ski slopes and just 100 metres from the Sonnalmbahn Cable Car, Landhaus Panorama enjoys a quiet location 1 km from the centre of Berwang. All rooms have a south-facing balcony.

Free parking is available on site. A cross-country ski run is 400 metres away, and it is just 200 metres to a fishing pond.

In the surrounding area, guests can go hiking, mountain biking or swimming in the nearby Rotlech or Heiterwanger Lake. In winter, several ski areas as well as toboggan runs and cross-country skiing trails can be easily reached. Neuschwanstein Castle is a 40-minute drive away.
