We only spent one night, so could not profit from the good location, but laundry facilities were good. Not too far from the few restaurants of the town. Also close by car from the start of Tongariro alpine crossing.

Towels and bed linen are provided in the apartment. This apartment is allergy-free and non-smoking. We were very impressed with the apartment. It was very modern and very clean. Cosy and comfy. The washing machine came in handy as did the heated drying rack! Short drive into the main part of town but easy to navigate around town. The messages we received prior to our stay were welcome too.

Excellent location, very bright spacious, comfortable, well equipped unit, spotlessly clean. The way the mutts are set, all have balconies with good outdoor seating. The kitchen area was fabulous, everything you need for self catering. Loretta the Manager was amazing, so friendly, polite and helpful. Kylie on reception was very helpful and efficient. All in all a great stay, I’d definitely stay there again next time I’m in Taupo.
We're not fishing types but this was a lovely place to stay. Lodge number 8 was very peaceful and comfortable with a decent kitchen for self catering. It's good value for money, there's a laundry and the cafe is excellent. Pleasant sitting out area. It's also sufficiently close to the National Park which was ideal for the day walks we wanted to do.
Great location by the beach, clean shared bathrooms, lovely pool and spa, friendly and helpful staff, and the kitchen had the basics for self-catering. Lovely beaches close by for swimming.

Really spacious, well equipped apartment in great location on the lake, close to shops, bars and restaurants. Perfect base for exploring Taupo. We’re spending a month in NZ self catering, great to have such a well equipped kitchen.
Tiny House is a small trailer set in a nice private garden. It’s design concept is lovely. The included breakfast is a choice of cereals or weetabix, fresh milk, coffee and tea, 4 slices of toast, some butter, jam, and manuka honey. There would have been canned beans and peach as well. Full self-catering kitchen & utensils are provided. If you are into an autonomous, self-catering experience without meeting or talking to a local host (checkin is remote via a key box), then Tiny House is for you.
Self catering motel, great kitchen, just 2of us, paid for garden view, good idea as others faced road, albeit a quiet road. Mezzanine with 3 more beds lovely location for our trip to do Tongariro Northern Circuit tramp, about 40 mins away at Whakatepapa.
A suitable place to stay after arriving in Auckland. Out of the city but easily accessible ready for touring the next day. A well stocked kitchen making self catering possible.
