Freshly upgraded and modern, very spacious and clean. Right on the main thoroughfare so easy to find. Nice beds, furniture and very nice walk-in shower. Even had a jacuzzi tub but never had a chance to use it.
North Shore, Auckland
The motel and apartments are built on an elevated site with extensive views to the city and harbour at the front and a tree lined valley at the rear. The apartments feature modern furniture, quality appliances, flat-screen TV’S and full kitchens and laundry facilities. The property is equipped with secure covered parking and lifts to all floors. Electric car-charging is available on site, with prior booking at the reception required. It was very clean and modern. Had everything we needed and was quite big! All dishes, utensils, pots, pans were available so we did cook one night.
Whakatane
One88 on Commerce is located in Whakatane. The 5-star motel is a short walk from the Whaktane District Aquatic Centre and walking tracks. It offers air-conditioned rooms with a private bathroom and free WiFi. The property offers BBQ facilities. Comfort plus at this motel! Room was spotlessly clean when we arrived and the cleaning ladies did a fabulous job of servicing them daily. Checking in was seamless and we were shown around the unit and everything explained in detail how to use air con, TV, etc. No road noise could be heard and bed was so comfy, we slept well! As we travel alot, it is important we choose good accommodation and I can, without a doubt say that this motel is top of our list! Thanks so much for your hospitality!
Taupo
Set in Taupo, 36 km from Orakei Korako Cave and Thermal Park, Ashbrook Motel Taupo offers accommodation with free WiFi and free private parking. This 4-star motel offers room service and a tour desk. The property is non-smoking and is situated 36 km from Orakei Korako - The Hidden Valley. My warmest recommendations of this place. Incredibly friendly staff. Large clean and tastefully decorated rooms. Super comfortable beds and fully equipped kitchen. The motel is well located in relation to the center with restaurants etc. we stay here for 4 nights.

Each suite is surrounded by beautifully landscaped gardens and features a 32-inch flat-screen TV with satellite channels and a DVD player. The fully equipped kitchen includes an oven, a stove and a microwave. Good and spacious apartment with veranda located close to the river. We only spent one night, so could not profit from the good location, but laundry facilities were good. Not too far from the few restaurants of the town. Also close by car from the start of Tongariro alpine crossing.
Gisborne
The modern, spacious units have air-conditioning, fast heating electric blankets and lounges with satellite 50-inch LED TVs and fully equipped kitchenettes. Free on-site parking is provided at the front of your unit and there are free guest laundry facilities available. Management was super helpful in providing suggestions for restaurants, shopping, etc.
New Plymouth
One Burgess Hill offers a choice of 15 self-contained units overlooking the stunning Waiwhakaiho River and native landscape. It provides modern rooms, some of which feature a wood burning fire and private outdoor spa. everything is great, the views are crazy, the villa is huge

Excellent location near the centre of town and set back from the road, so very quiet. Full kitchen including stove top, so self catering is an option for longer stays. Clean and tidy.

Excellent location, very bright spacious, comfortable, well equipped unit, spotlessly clean. The way the mutts are set, all have balconies with good outdoor seating. The kitchen area was fabulous, everything you need for self catering. Loretta the Manager was amazing, so friendly, polite and helpful. Kylie on reception was very helpful and efficient. All in all a great stay, I’d definitely stay there again next time I’m in Taupo.
The new owners clearly have a mission to make this a top both motel and I wish them well. As yet, it's just a ordinary motel. The room we had was a decent size and the kitchen facilities fine for self catering.. There are decent sitting out areas with some of the apartments but not all. The Brooks Restaurant at the site was very good indeed.
We're not fishing types but this was a lovely place to stay. Lodge number 8 was very peaceful and comfortable with a decent kitchen for self catering. It's good value for money, there's a laundry and the cafe is excellent. Pleasant sitting out area. It's also sufficiently close to the National Park which was ideal for the day walks we wanted to do.
Great location by the beach, clean shared bathrooms, lovely pool and spa, friendly and helpful staff, and the kitchen had the basics for self-catering. Lovely beaches close by for swimming.

Idyllic Country Garden was very well located for lovely Waikanae Beach and Queen Elizabeth Park and the delightful Kapiti Coast. The hosts were very welcoming and helpful, the outside terrace and barbecue were good and there was a very well equipped kitchen for all our self catering needs. The inside seating area was comfortable as well.
Incredibly well equipped kitchen and common facilities, lounge area and pool. Really facilitated self catering.
