Napier is 20 km from the holiday home, while Hastings is 2.2 km away. The nearest airport is Hawke's Bay Airport, 26 km from Garden Cottage. Location was good, outside of the city but not too far to go in if you want to. Nice and quiet, surrounded by orchards.

Free private parking is available at the apartment. This place was beautiful, clean, roomy and well equipped. The hosts were very nice. Wish we could have stayed longer than one night!

Loved that they left a really nice basket of treats. They also had bicycles to borrow.

The apartment is beautifully furnished and it has everything you need for your stay. The kitchen is well equipped, there is a washing machine and dryer and if you like, there is a swimming pool! Location is excellent, and we will certainly stay here again if we visit Havelock North!

Private bathrooms include a shower and free toiletries. Towels and linen are provided. Perfect stay, best equipped cottage we have ever seen (we are travelling a lot all over the world). Quiet and peaceful. Wonderful surroundings. Perfect terrace to have breakfast and dinner. We stayed five nights it was our best stay within 2 months travelling around NZ.

Surrounded by lovely manicured gardens, Clive Colonial Cottages offer self-contained accommodation just 300 metres from East Clive Beach. All cottages feature free WiFi, a kitchenette or kitchen and free on-site parking. You can enjoy the large outdoor chess set and the games room. Check in was quick and easy, thanks Tony and Rachel. The property is well maintained. Our family was in the two bedroom cottage (Bluebell) and although the property shared with 2 other cabins, it was set up so privacy was not an issue. Very quiet and relaxing. Cleanliness and comfort were exceptional. Lots of little extras (games, bike rental, chickens….). Definitely a recommendation.
