The room is roomie as it's brand compared to airbnb studio apartment, it's very tidy and the kitchen has the utensil we need to cook instead of always going out to buy food.

The motel and apartments are built on an elevated site with extensive views to the city and harbour at the front and a tree lined valley at the rear. The apartments feature modern furniture, quality appliances, flat-screen TV’S and full kitchens and laundry facilities. The property is equipped with secure covered parking and lifts to all floors. Electric car-charging is available on site, with prior booking at the reception required. Spacious modern apartment. Good location close to shops and restaurants. Parking included.

All units comprise a seating area, a dining area, and a fully equipped kitchen with various cooking facilities, including a dishwasher, a microwave, a toaster and a fridge. All units are fitted with a kettle, a flat-screen TV and free WiFi, while selected rooms have a balcony and some have sea views. At the homestay, all units have bed linen and towels. Location was brilliant, amazing views of the Auckland harbour/skyline, but away from the noise/traffic of the city. We travelled between Auckland city and north shore, so Andy’s house was perfect in the middle. The house was lovely and comfortable, there was a seperate lounge shared between us and one other room, which was nice to have a bit of privacy. Massive outside deck with table/benches to work in the day/relax in the evening. Breakfast was provided, along with all the tea and coffee you could want. Finally, the host family were amazing. Andy, his young son Alan (the little property manager), plus the whole family, were just wonderful. Nothing was too much trouble. They were happy to offer suggestions/help, or leave you alone, as you prefer. All in I would definitely stay again.

Towels and bed linen are provided in the holiday home. For added privacy, the accommodation has a private entrance and is protected by full-day security. The cabin looked brand new. It was bright and, although not big, it felt spacious because of an excellent use of space. The owner sent us instructions to get to the cabin and to get inside that were excellent. We also liked it that felt quiet and isolated even though we were only about 100m from a busy road.

I could not have asked for a better experience. The daily sprucing up was impeccable; new linens as needed, freshened all spaces, refill for coffee and tea. This was a peaceful space and walkable to my venue for my conference. Plenty of fine places to grab a bite within walking as well. Great stay!

The hosts were very responsive to our queries and requests. Highly recommend!

Note that the second bedroom separate from the rest of the cottage (adjacent but you have to go outside to enter it) Not a problem for my 10 and 13yo kids
