The instructions for self entry were all straightforward and the host was easily contactable via WhatsApp (I needed the WiFi code). I would stay here again.

Barthe Golf Course is 50 km from the apartment. The nearest airport is Bergerac Dordogne Périgord Airport, 4 km from Le Petit Nicol. This must be the cutest little basement in the world. It is wonderfully decorated with great attention to detail, and generally just has a really nice vibe. And Nicole really is the sweetest host ever. This is one of those rare gems that you occasionally find while travelling.
