Even if it was a short stay, the apartment is very cosy and comfortable, very well equipped. The owner was gentle, he was waiting for us to check in. He also provided us with a taxi to the airport. Granted, the room may not have the most modern look, but we were happy nonetheless: the room was spotlessly clean, and the kitchen has many utensils. The biggest asset of this guesthouse? The host: a very kind and welcoming lady who helped us on our way multiple times. This hospitality was also reflected in all common areas, which were breathing a cozy 'welcome home'-atmosphere. I would most definitely book here again.

Salpalinjan Hovi is set in a charming, renovated school building, 10 minutes’ drive from Lappeenranta city centre. It offers self-catering accommodation with classic décor, a kitchenette and private bathroom. WiFi and parking are free. Excellent location and awesome place to stay close to Lappeenranta. The "history room" is super, it's very spacious and it's fully furnished with everything. The host is very nice and helpful in explaining what to do in the nearby area and in Rutola village. Nearby there's a GP Grilli which is excellent. I highly recommend it if you're passing by!

The apartment was super clean, comfortable and furnished with everything we needed. The host was available for any questions and we did not have any trouble picking up the keys.
