The kitchen was well equipped, the view is amazing, the garden is beautiful. The staff didn't bother us and we're polite and helpful when I asked questions. The dam is awesome to swim in.
We choose the property for its isolated and rural location, not too far from Te Urewera. The property is scenically located and there were trees and flowering shrubs around the property. The property was very comfortable with soft beds and a sofa I felt I was sinking into. The property was roomy and had a kitchen I felt comfortable cooking in. The host personally greeted us. We didn't need it, but were pleased to have the option of using the woodfire.
