The most amazing stay! Edith & Alexander are the most welcoming hosts, made our stay very enjoyable.
The breakfast bought to our room was delicious and so well presented.
Chickens and giant bunny rabbits were a lovely unexpected treat :)
Use of the extra garden and hot tub was perfect for us after a busy few days travelling.
The neighbourhood is beautiful, we walked around in the evening.
The room and bathroom is exceptionally clean and the bed super comfortable!

Location was amazing. Possibility go for a walk with dog anywhere you want to go. Every single walk was different. Birds are anywhere you look, It is like a paradise if you are not used to seeing countriside like that and listening singing birds on every single step.

A great place to stay. It's a bit out of the way from Alkmaar or the local town, but that's what is nice about it. The hotel & restaurant are lovely. The menu is fantastic and the room was decorated nicely. I didn't catch the staff members name, but the chap who asked the kitchen to stay open for us, and ordered us a taxi in the morning was a gent, and all members of staff were polite and helpful.
Absolutelly amazing house with terrase by the river, calm place, perfect equipmnet of appatrment - big kitchen with dinning and living room, large bathroom, very nice bedroom. Lovely owners of appartment. We felt there like in paradise :)
