Typical hostel with own room and bathroom with shared kitchen space. Very clean and tidy and also a large lounge and terrace for relaxing. Staff very friendly and the location is excellent, just a 1 min. walk to the lovely Poe beach.
The staff were welcoming and very accommodating, the room and shared kitchen was very well cleaned, there are so many amenities around and it's a stunning location. There is a small store nearby open some days to get food items and various restaurants around (just check the opening times). The kitchen facilities provided by the accommodation was great.
We booked two rooms for our family of 5. The larger guest room was spacious and included a kitchen with a full fridge/freezer. It was great being able to buy take away tapas and pizza as an option instead of buffets. Air conditioning worked well in both rooms.
Oh my goodness, everything! Gwen & Fred were wonderful.hosts. Shana (the gorgeous German shepherd/Belgian shepherd) was a sweetheart. The location is peaceful and utterly beautiful. The cottage was comfortable and private. We loved the outdoor kitchen immensely.
We'd stay a lot longer next time!
We loved the location and the facilities on site, full kitchen and new bbq and outside seating areas. A well stocked kitchen with numerous utensils, plus a great way of organising by room
Perfect location for paddling and snorkeling. Really nicely managed hostel with clean kitchen and well organised staff. Very helpful English speaking staff.
Location (quick and easy access to the beach), common facilities (outdoor: hammock, barbecue, planted herbs for cooking use, superbly well-equipped kitchen, living room/reading space with a view).
Quiet bungalow, simple but very nice and comfortable. Small kitchen with basic cookery, very handy for self catering. Nice deck overlooking greenery with lots of small birds.
We didn’t get to meet the host, but communication and instructions to find the bungalow were very helpful - it is not within Bourail, but still convenient location to explore La Roche Percée etc. We were particularly grateful for the gifts of custard apples and lemons. Great stay overall.
