It feels more private than a standard hotel. The room was within short walking distance of several convenient stores and the train station. There are dishes and appliances in the small kitchen for whatever convenient foods and hot drinks you may want to reheat or prepare. There is also just enough space in the apartment for two people to be reasonably comfortable. Subtle entertainment has also been supplied in the form of books and a board game.

Huge well appointed 3 bedroom apartment. It was good having the desk and chair in the other room so I could do a bit of work, without bothering my wife. There is a 7/11 practically next door, and it’s super easy to get to both Kita-Akabane and Akabane stations, which have very good connections to all the main stops around Tokyo. It’s a nice peaceful suburb too. It’s a passcode on the front door to get into the property, so super easy contactless checkin. Our flight got in late, so arrived at the apartment at 11pm, but we’d communicated that to the owner ahead of time so it was all fine.
