Superb holiday place! Very convenient location in a quiet village area, adjacent to a small lovely pebble beach - we had a great swim and sunbathing there without any crowds around. Superbly clean and comfortable holiday house, beautiful garden and terrace - we had lovely evenings with some Cretan wine or beer and mornings with a cup of nice Greek coffee there. Spectacular views of the Souda bay through the bedrooms windows. Eleni was a very helpful hostess and suggested a lovely tavern in nearby Aptera village mi serving delicious traditional Cretan food for a dinner. We had a fantastic stay - thank you!

This is place is an absolute gem and the best value for money available on Crete if you are looking to stay in a villa. Usually the places look better in the pictures you get for these rates, but this one far exceeded our expectations! The hospitality of the host was also impeccable, meeting our requests and needs at every turn. You can certainly book this place with the comfort of knowing if you need something or if something in the premises needs attending to (e.g. we had one of the bedrooms AC's fixed in the matter of a few hours during the heat wave in Mid-June 2024), this will be taken care of with the utmost urgency. The neighborhood overall consists of large houses / villas and is a very quiet and comfortable place to stay at. All the bedrooms have AC and the facilities overall are great, with a spectacular view of the sea from the yard. The terrace set-up works extremely well for both having dinner and just spending time socializing. Making pizza in the Cretan oven on the lower yard is also definitely something all guests should try and experience. Also highly recommend walking down from the hill for 10 minutes and visiting the restaurant "Tavern the Aptera". Great food, great service and great prices.

Amazing location! Clean rooms and pool, quiet place with outstanding views. Chrysi is very warm and welcoming host and informed us about everything we needed to know. There are a few easy common sense rules to follow at the location which shouldn't be a problem with anyone. For sure we will come back next year!

Netherlands
I was looking for some peace and quiet away from the `Madding Crowd` so-to-speak. Here I found it! The beach was only but a short drive away and I felt I had the best of both worlds. The little village down the way, has some very good local food restaurants. Good location to run in the evenings, flanked by the picturesque sea views and the ruinous charms of Hellenes, you can't quiet help feeling the surreality of it juxtaposed to the `old routine`. I suggest go with a Kafka or maybe a Sartre to maximise the experience.

This is a beautifully preserved family home, modernised with air con and a well-equipped kitchen, but retaining some special family mementoes. The garden provided shade or sun all day, and the hostess came to visit (plus her brother lives nearby). It was safe enough for her to leave the keys in the door for us, and she had left food and drink for us. In the dark it took a while to find but its only a short drive from the main road to Chania and the coast. It is a lovely place to stay.
