Villa Mykines is a beautiful home, fully renovated, and has absolutely everything you need and more! We were greeted with an amazing welcome package of what to see/do in the area, a welcome bottle of wine, food, and oranges from the homeowner’s tree that are the best orages we have ever tasted! We are a family of five, and traveled the Peloponnese to visit Mycenae ruins. I booked this villa because it would accommodate us all, never expecting to find such an incredible place to stay. I wish we could have stayed here longer. We cannot wait to go back to Villa Mykines and explore more of the Peloponnese. We met a family member upon check-in and more family members upon check out. Wonderful hosts, beautiful home, fantastic views from each bedroom’s private balcony, and several restaurants within walking distance. Short drive up the hill to the ruins.

Excellent view over Plain of Argos (front) and toward Mycenae (back). Very pleasant living room. Eggs and fruit in refrigerator.

Very quiet rural environment, beautiful views on Argos, old Mycene and Palamedis castle. Nice outside terasses.

The spacious living room and kitchen which are perfect for our large group to enjoy, too bad we couldn’t use the pool due to the weather. The house is located on the top of the mountain with panaramic view of the surrounding area, the outdoor area are beautiful , we can sit there all day to enjoy the surrounding beauty

Wow! What a wonderful place to stay! We were in the area for work but felt like we were on holiday. Driving home up the bumpy road each evening we immediately relaxed. And that view! So fabulously expansive! Going to sleep with all the soft, twinkly lights of the towns and villages below was magical. The perfect terrace with the perfect iron table and chairs for a drink, dinner or breakfast too. Comfy bed and lounge, tv with netflix, deep bath (with hand-held shower). Not much bench space in the kitchen for cooking, but we managed. It was really hot when we were there but the aircon worked a treat. Met by the owner, Georgia, who gave us a very warm welcome and was very responsive to our needs. We loved our stay at the Silo Stone House and would happily return if we could.
