We got a small studio flat in a nice building in halfway beside the serpentine down to Falassarna.
Fortunately we had a terrace with stunning view to the see. The flat was freshly cleaned every day.
It took only 10 minutes going down to the see by car. This place is not for walkers, definitely needs a car.

The most gorgeous view from the terrace to the sea, we have never seen such beautiful sunsets anywhere. Cleaning every day, clean, bright, near the beach, there is a large swimming pool, a bar.

A relaxing holiday in a stunning setting. We had the Vassos villa which was perfect for two people with plenty of room and its own outside terrace as well as a private rooftop terrace to die for. Walking distance to taverna and mini market. There is even a fresh water spring 5 minutes walk away where you can refill your water bottles. Yes, the accommodation is a 20 minute drive from stunning beaches but we spent more time relaxing around the poolside reading and taking in the view. Finally, a mention about Jenny the owner. Such a friendly person and nothing was too much trouble. If you want somewhere to escape the crowds- book it!

Our stay at this hotel was disappointing, despite a couple of positives. The rooms were clean, and the coffee served in cute mugs was a nice touch. However, these were the only highlights of our experience.
We were assigned a room facing the street, and the noise from the traffic made it impossible to sleep. If you’re a light sleeper, you should definitely consider this before booking.
Additionally, we requested to be moved to a different room, but our request was denied, even though it appeared that other rooms were available. This lack of flexibility was quite frustrating.
Overall, the negatives outweighed the positives, and this is not a place we would choose to return to.

Everything was far beyond the expected average standard of Crete. A fantastic spacious terrace with a large pergola. Superb taste in the renovation of an old house in a most lovely village. I was warmly welcomed, the room was beautiful and nicely equipped and decorated, everything was sparkling clean. The view from the terrace to the valley was nice too. The location is just perfect for exploring the western cost.
If you need to cook, make sure you book room with kitchen corner, not all of them have one. The references from previous guests might be misleading.
There are a few nice taverns nearby.
If you are into hiking, try to walk up to the wind power plant, there is a nice path by the river.
Everything perfect, everything beautiful. Amazing place, view, food and very friendly hosts! The room is super comfortable, it has everything to make your stay perfect (kitchen with all the necessary utensils for cooking) if you don't want to cook, Lefteris's tavern has the best food, everything is highly recommended.

The staff was also helpful, giving us valueable information on what to do around
The views were amazing! And the large living room, terrace and kitchen were great. The bbq was also great. The owner was very reactive via WhatsApp if we had questions.
