The property is in a wonderful location in Filoti, raised up above the town with superb views of the mountains and surrounding valley. The hosts couldn't have been more helpful and gave lots of recommendations of things to do and see prior to our arrival. The terrace is very spacious and a wonderful place to relax on an evening in a very peaceful neighbourhood. The bedrooms are extemely comfortable and the property has all of the facilities you could need. The owners also arranged for us to be collected with our luggage from the centre of town on arrival and back again on our departure. A very unique property that offers great value.

The location is very convenient in the center of Filoti, very close to the bus station, a small grocery store and a lot of restaurants. It's a great starting point for hiking tours to neighboring villages or into the mountains. Checkin and checkout were quick and uncomplicated. The tiny kitchen provides helpful basics and the fridge is large.

We absolutely loved our stay at Halcyon. The villa was beautiful and surpassed our expectations, it was so lovely to have the delicious breakfast on the table outside overlooking the beautiful view. The pool was divine as were the poolside cocktails - the halcyon daiquiri was my favourite. Manolis was very kind, from meeting us at the port, whisking our suitcases up to the villa while we picked up our rental car, giving us recommendations of restaurants and places to visit, he made our stay extra special! I hope we can visit again one day!

Helen is a wonderful host and really wants you to enjoy your stay and the surrounding area. She is passionate about her hotel's sustainability record and that's is commendable. The location, outlook, room and facilities were excellent - used the pool, gym and restaurant. Helen is a feeder - breakfast and dinner will set you up well!

Altogether we had a very nice stay. We loved Filoti and Giannakis Filoxenia was a perfect choice to explore the village and its surroundings!
Excellent and luxurious room, very nice details, equipped little kitchen corner (we tried to use two coffee-making machines when we found a normal kettle) to make a tea. Lemons for tea are available in the garden. The rooms are located near the road, but still calm enough. We enjoyed our stay a lot.
Sufficiently spacious, comfortable and cosy. Very well arranged. Beautiful views from the living room, balcony and kitchen. A perfect base to explore Mount Zas and the country around Filoti.
