The property is set high on the hills overlooking Heraklion and the wine valleys .. the view is stunning .. the villa we stayed in was very comfortable and blended in well with the environment.. my husband and I used the pool both days and could relax next to it enjoying the scenery and near by goat herds .. Elena and her husband were always very friendly and what a magnificent spread she cooked and delivered to our room for dinner, catering generously with home cooked vegetarian meals for me and lamb from the farm for my husband .. most of the produce for dinner and the plentiful breakfast comes from the farm or neighbouring areas.. we would definitely stay here again ..

The terrace with the view of the garden was a lovely spot where we spent our mornings and evenings and there were always friendly cats around keeping us company. The apartment also had some basic cooking supplies like olive oil and salt. Everything else you can get at a mini market, literally 3 walking min away from the apartment. If you mean to travel around the island by car, you can reach the motorway within 5 min.

Great place in quiet small village in the mountains. Very friendly and welcoming Host. Cozy and quiet room, very clean with bathroom and kitchen utensils. Beautiful patio and nice surroundings. Nearest villages, mountains ang gorges gives you a lot of opportunities for nice walks and trips.
Although it's high in the mountains, it's not so far from bigger cities like Iraklio. And it's very close to Anogia, Zoniana and Axos.
We will definitely turn back there.
