It was totally unexpected! The lovely, pinterest-like décor: every object is beautiful, thoughtfully chosen, and the effect on the whole is fantastic. The large garden with views on the river - such a surprise! My younger dog went for a few swims - my older dog didn't dare jump in as the climb back wasn't easy on her old bones. We had a beer by the river, watching them play, they went mad with happiness at being allowed to run about! The kids also loved the garden, the little strings of lamps, the lovely lawn ...and the good wi-fi. We loved the pergola at the back, and the very comfy bed (and sofa). We will surely come back and hopefully stay for longer.

I’m new to the renting a furnished apartment for a few days. There have been good experiences and not so good experiences. This one was one of the best ones. It’s a lovely apartment, wonderfully situated, and the hostess has taken great pains to make it a smooth and relaxing experience. It’s richly and comfortably decorated (although this makes you feel slightly awkward rummaging in cabinets to find things). She left detailed instructions on how to get the keys and find the apartment. (Despite that, I still got lost next door, to be honest…) She left snacks and charcuterie for me meaning that I didn’t really have many things I needed to buy from the store! She even left a comprehensive information packet (in English and French) about all the activities and eateries which are in the area. Unfortunately, I technically came there for research; so I didn’t have much time to enjoy the surroundings. But if I had, I know where I would’ve looked for suggestions. Finally, to top everything off, I was there the weekend of the Olympic torch relay, and the apartment was literally 5 minutes away from the trade off location!

The view was so peaceful and everything was really excellent. Great place for bigger groups. Close to Reims and all of the Champagne district. Easy to access from Paris. Close enough to Belgium for a quick day trip.

Lovely, spacious apartment in a quiet street on walking distance from the cathedral and everywhere else you might want to go when visiting Reims. Our host, Aurore, left a bottle of water, some coffee, tea and madeleine cakes for us to use which was a nice touch.
