Beautiful villa, perfectly clean apartment with complete equipment including kitchen. Very nice and helpful owners. Possibility to park a scooter in the garage. A wonderful view of the castle from the room and the terrace. Ideal place for trips around town and restaurants for evening. Harz National park is great for motobikers.

The location was good. Only about 6 - 7 minutes walk to the central square of the Old Town. A bus to & from the railway station was a few minutes walk on a side street. The apartment was located in a lovely street on the edge of the Old Town. The kitchenette was reasonably well equipped.
An exceptional ground floor apartment in a fine building. The situation on a street off the main road was very quiet. The issue with access to the door key was quickly resolved by Stephanie. Very good shower. A bonus was the access to a shared washing machine in the basement. There was a large area for hanging clothes to dry. Small but adequate kitchen but no oven. The main train and bus stations were 30 mins walk, but the market place and the HSB station could be reached in a few minutes.
The owner was really nice and there was a really nice welcome and we got a lot of information about the city etc. We got bigger apartment than we have booked. There was a really big balcony and the kitchen. It was close to the city center. The breakfast was really nice and we had no problem with choosing something for ourselves.
Marianne and her husband were very friendly. The place was very well-equipped (especially the kitchen!) and they had set it up to be cosy and comfortable. They were helpful with our questions and the place was spotless. I would stay here again!
