A clean, simply but comfortably furnished cabin with spectacular views over the lake. Our host Cristian thought of everything, even laying out kindling in the wood stove so it was ready to be lit when the evening turned cool. Comfortable and firm beds, great water pressure, well-equipped kitchen. We stayed in two different cabins — one had a washing machine which was very handy.

The cabin in Cala Meli surpassed my expectations. The decor is cool, modern and has such a cozy feel, that I instantly felt comfortable and delighted to be there. The area is a beautiful gated community, which is very private and extremely quiet. Neighbors were friendly and respectful of privacy. No one encroached on our space. While this particular cabin was on the hill. It leads to a beautiful beach with an amazing view of the lake and the Mount Orsono. It was simply spectacular and magical. Bianca and Andreas were great. Both so warm and welcoming. Quick to respond to any questions and offer assistance. I would return in an instant.

The cabins are simple and all different having used the nature around to build them. The best of all is your host Renzo! He too is all heart and soul and his hospitality and help is endless. The location was great - looking over the lake toward the main volcanoes. It was a short walk to town - less than 10 min. While at night the last part of the walk is a bit dark, it is easy and feels very safe. The proprietor, Claudia, is exceptionally helpful. We had a problem with a theft from our car in a national park, and she helped us make the police report, translating and then also obtaining the written police report since it was not going to be available before we left the area. We can't thank her enough for all her help. The rooms are modern, clean, and well appointed. Beds are very good. Great to wake up and look out toward the volcanoes. Being a bit away from town, it is very quiet and peaceful. Nice yard in front to sit out and have a cup of coffee or use the grill overlooking the lake.
