The location to Australia Zoo was fabulous which was the reason for our stay.
The house size meant all of our children had their own bedroom which was great and they needed space to themselves.

stayed one night after visiting Australia Zoo, local pub about a 7 min walk away did good food. We left first thing in the morning to move on to our next destination. for a night stay well worth it

Title: Unacceptable Stay - Mouse sighted in toilet and Unbearable Odor

"We booked this house for a night, but unfortunately, our stay was cut short due to a mouse which we noticed in the toilet but what put us off was a putrid smell from a dead mouse. The condition of the rest of the house was reasonably clean, except for the kitchen floor which was dusty. We were told that there was parking on site - but did not know that we had to park our loaded trailer and car in the driveway and assumed the garage doors meant we would have secured parking - this was a bit misleading. Despite our efforts to address this with the owner, she refused to acknowledge the issue and take responsibility.
Our main concern was the smell of a decaying mouse and this was overwhelming as we could not bring ourselves to eat there. We had to find alternative accommodation at the last minute, which added to our stress and expenses.
I would not recommend this property to anyone until the owner addresses these issues and takes necessary steps to ensure a clean and comfortable stay for guests.

Really lovely property. Excellent, communicative hosts. We loved the outdoor bath and pergola. Felt very connected with the outdoors! We had great weather which was a bonus. Lots of room for the kids to run around.

Exceptionally clean in a quiet location. Home from home experience. Comfortable beds, excellent kitchen and bathroom facilities. Set in beautiful grounds. They’d even provided games for our children. Great aircon too. We’d highly recommend this fabulous property. 5*****
We had the whole house with a spacious bedroom for us and another one for our son. A big sitting room with kitchen and the possibility to sit outside.
The garden is very nice, and the host absolutely great.

Beautiful surroundings. It’s a wonderful little cabin with great appliances, and really thoughtful products stocked in the bathroom and kitchen. Great BBQ and our hosts were lovely!!
A magic property in a peaceful area off the main road. Huge area containing kitchen, dining and entertainment area. Large main bedrooom, smaller second bedroom both with big double beds. Games and reading books provided. Makings of a continental breakfast provided if wanted. Friendly owner waiting with keys on arrival and gave a quick tour of the facilities. Shower hot and strong.
Palomino has a warm, friendly country cottage vibe. The host Rosie was friendly and welcoming but gave you plenty of privacy. The small kitchen was well enough equipped to meet our weekend stay and the plunge pool was a nice little bonus for the kids.. We all loved feeding the ponies with Rosie's supervision and giving them a good pat. It was nice and close to multiple locations on the Sunshine coast and fairly easy to get around from there.
We loved that we could check out late and the little gift that was on the kitchen bench was beautiful 🥰 it is a wonderful way to remind us of the time we spend here. Thank you kindly xox
