The manager was very thoughtful and left fresh bread, butter, condiments and milk in the fridge for our stay. Fresh tea and coffee pods as well as hot chocolate were available which was lovely. We visited for a wedding and didn't get to experience much of the property as we were quite busy! It would be lovely for a relaxing weekend away, comfortable by the fire place with a wine.

The unique and stylish rooms were comfortable and had everything you would ever need and more! The attention to detail within the rooms was something I've never experienced. The cosy fireplace in winter to the bath with a beautiful view and the efforts they've gone through in their design to ensure your privacy was noticed and appreciated. Upon request they ensured that the outdoor spa was warmed through the day and we made use of this at night, with nothing around it was incredibly peaceful being able to relax and enjoy the night sky with no city light pollution. The hospitality received from the La Rocher family was incredibly warm and kind, we were celebrating a birthday and they went above and beyond for us.

Economical. Friendly greeting. Room was very clean throughout. Interesting layout but well equipped. Everything you need basically, including a real kitchen sink. Bathroom was very good with a tiled wall separating toilet from shower recess. A free basic breakfast is also on offer at specific times. A small swimming pool for use. Next to river. Some rooms have water views

Comfortable room, decent kitchen facilities, nice shower (temperature and pressure) and free parking. We didn’t try the bar/restaurant downstairs as we weren’t staying long but it looked really nice.

Wonderful location overlooking the river and dramatic hinterland. Small kitchenette and good sized fridge made it easy to self-cater. Some rooms have a balcony with chairs and table to take in the manic views… well worth any extra cost. Perfect 3 Star budget motel.

This is an older motel. That is what you are paying for. It was great for our time at Bluesfest with many of the other guests also Bluesfest visitors. There was no early morning noise and we could choose not to be disturbed so we could sleep after returning late at night. The kitchen was a microwave, kettle and toaster plus crockery and cutlery. This was great for us to make breakfast and lunch each day.
